versatile actor is known to bring authenticity to his roles making it appear
interesting and real, whatever it takes!
The versatile
actor got his ears pierced for his forthcoming film, Mental Hai Kya. “We tried
clip-on earrings, but I wasn't convinced. I insisted on getting my ears
pierced. It helps me connect with the character.”
The talented actor
also attended a three-week long workshop to get into the skin of his character.
“It’s a tough part for me to play but that’s what excites me as an actor,” says
Rajkummar, elaborating, “Whenever I get an opportunity, I do my best to undergo
extreme transformation — be it going half-bald for Bose: Dead/Alive or losing
weight for Trapped (2016). As an actor, I have to do whatever is required for
my character. I don't like compromising when it comes to acting.”

Rajkummar is quite
excited shooting for the film alongside Kangana Ranaut, his co-star of the
critically-acclaimed, Queen. “Kangana is extremely talented. She is a focused
actor which makes work more exciting. We share a great rapport and am sure
Mental Hai Kya will be another exciting collaboration. It’s quite hot in Mumbai
but there is great energy on set,” he informs.

“Our team is
awesome and working with Ekta, Shailesh and Prakash Kovelamudi (our director)
is lot of fun. Mental Hai Kya is a very entertaining thriller. I am really
looking forward to it,” he adds.
